This set of x100 paper cups arrived sealed in a plastic bag. The cups have a capacity of 250ml which isn’t the largest, but is sufficient for most drinks. Each cups measures approximately 8.5cm in height and 7.3cm diameter at the top of the cup. They are ideal for gatherings or picnics where taking / using lots of glasses may not be practical – it also saves on washing up too! The listing does push the use of the cups for both hot and cold drinks, but having used it for a cup of tea I found that because there wasn’t an insulation layer to protect your hands from the heat, and therefore the cup was a little uncomfortable to use. However, the cups are ideal for cold drinks. The disposable cups come in a few colours scheme and I chose the white with gold dots option, but they also come in black with gold dots and a rainbow scheme with gold dots. The cups are also very lightweight, which is a positive if you are carrying them, but does mean they tip much more easily / blow away if empty. Overall, the cups perform well with no leaks or distortion with use and as a reasonably eco-friendly option (biodegradable and recyclable) I feel like they are a nice option. Priced at £14.58 at the time of reviewing, this works out at approximately 1.5p per cup which I think it good value for money. However, I would recommend them with use for cold drinks over using them for hot drinks.
